The End is Near

Of renovations that is! Today marks the start of 2 weeks of nearly undivided attention to finishing the majority of renovations. I say majority because our bedroom ceiling hasn't been scraped, nor the carpet pulled up. But the living/dining area and baby's room (fingers crossed) will be complete!

Michael has 2 weeks off of work, which is why this is possible. Even having worked a night shift last night he was rearing to go. Ok, so the iced coffee I brought him after getting my hair cut may have been my not so subtle hint to get the work underway. <sheepish look> Truthfully he's just as ready to have the rooms complete as I am, so he's trying to make the most of the time he's got.

The last few days he has primed the ceiling and walls where the drywall patches were made. Yesterday he painted the ceiling. Today he painted the walls. Yay, no more random patches of drywall, mudding, or primer, but actual seamless color around the whole room. Progress is being made.
